I began my career in health care in India before migrating to Australia.  My first experience in the health care sector was that of a pharmacist in a busy hospital in India.  I developed the passion to care for older people at a very young age as I used to look after my grandparents.

I started my career in Australia working in aged care as a personal care worker. I found this very rewarding. I was promoted as a team leader at an aged care facility and decided to expand my skills, studying Community Welfare, Business Management and a Bachelor of Nursing, moving on to work as a Registered Nurse in a hospital. 

My experience includes low level care to high level care, Dementia Care, Urology, orthopaedic and cardiac care. I have observed frequent readmissions in hospitals, especially in the older population which can be prevented by providing ongoing quality care at their home.  This also protects from hospital borne infections and reduces the burden on family and the health care system. 

I look forward to using my acute care and aged care skills to provide quality care to the elderly in their own home.

I began my career working in aged care as a catering assistant.  It was a great experience working for senior citizens.  I completed a bachelor's in mathematics in India and I improved my skill and knowledge by completing a certificate in Health Support Service and Food Processing while working in aged care.  I then went on to work as a support worker while studying Enrolled Nursing.  I strongly believe in community-based care and have a firm belief that a community-based care model is best for an indiviual as they can stay in thier own home and care is catered according to the individual's need.  I have learnt from experience working as a carer that community-based care provides the best quality of care to an individual.  After completing my Enrolled Nursing, I gained clinical skills and acute care experience in an Adelaide Hospital.  As a business owner and an Enrolled Nurse, I look forward to providing care services to the people in our community.
