Are you looking for Aged Care in the Blacktown Area?

Right at Home go the extra mile for clients and their families because we know that ageing isn’t easy – for anyone involved. Making the right decision about how to care for a loved one as they age can be fraught with emotion, and we strive to provide you with the best experience possible.

Who can access care through Right at Home?

As an Approved Provider, we accept government funding through the My Aged Care government website.

We provide care for older Australians (65+ or 50+ Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander) to keep them in their homes. We look after people suffering from Alzheimer’s, dementia and cognitive decline, as well as providing disability and post-operative care.

Our care managers create a Custom Care Plan which includes strategies for achieving measurable goals, plans for increasing Quality of Life and a full clear breakdown of budget.

Extensive notes are taken by our staff when they attend, and the notes are left in the client’s house. Our Care Managers make regular unannounced visits to ensure standards are being upheld, and we provide regular feedback to families.

How is Right At Home different from other local care providers?

Right at Home was founded in 1995 in Omaha, Nebraska by Allen Hager – a hospital administrator who noticed that elderly patients were being discharged from the hospital and returning home – but never returning to health. This was, he noted, because they were unable to sufficiently care for themselves and it wasn’t always possible for the family to provide the right level of care.

Since then, Right At Home spans the globe, with offices in the USA, the UK, the Far East and Australia, all providing elderly people with access to appropriate care that enables them to stay Right At Home as they age.

Our unique carer matching service means that we choose the right person to support your loved one, based not only on the services needed and skill set but also through personality and interests. Our carers are carefully screened, with detailed background checks, and they undergo regular professional development to ensure that they are suitably qualified. We want your relative to have a beneficial relationship with the whole Right at Home team assigned to provide care – we treat you like our neighbours, because you are.

If you would like to have some more information about the Right at Home difference, or you would like to receive a free, no obligation assessment of your situation or care needs, then please do give us a call.

We want you to make the best decision on the care of your ageing loved one, so we can support you through the whole process – from the initial assessment by the government Aged Care Assessment Team right through to choosing a provider – even if that isn’t us.
